This weekend is Bridal Extravaganza weekend in Houston. So many brides, so many vendors in one place its mind boggling.

Beginnings will not be part of the show this year. Not because we don’t think its a great show because it is. So many of the brides who attend the show do so because they are hoping to plan their own wedding and not in search of a wedding coordinator.

Cortney and I will be attending the show to check out and meet the new vendors. We are always in search of the best and most creative people in our business. Plus its a fun way to say hi to old friends.

I have a little bit of advice for those of you who will be attending the show.

1. Print your own address labels at home and take them with you or be ready to purchase some at the show. It will save you lots and lots of repetitive writing.

2. Take two shopping bags, one for the information from the vendors that you really really love and one for the others that you aren’t so sure about. If everything is in one bag, when you get home you’ll never remember which ones you loved and which ones were “so so”.

3. Having a booth at the Bridal Extravaganza is a real expense for the vendors so please if you book an appointment with one of the vendors, please honor that appointment

4. Have fun, go with an open mind !!!!

I’d love to hear about your experiences at the show, feel free to send in your comments

Vendors We Love

Next week we will unveil a new column on this blog. Vendors We Love. As a big part of what we do at Beginnings is provide our brides and clients with the best vendors we know in the area, we will never post a list of our little army of vendors. I do want to highlight vendors from time to time and let you see for yourself why we think they are wonderful.

Our first vendor will be Jessie Lopez of Edible Designs by Jessie
Her cakes are just fabulous and she is such a pleasure to work with.

Stay tuned!!

If you as a bride have come across a vendor that you would love to share with us please feel free to send me a message here and let me check them out.

Find a cool spot to enjoy this summer day,
Pamela

New Beginnings website

Finally, the new website is online and I am so excited. There are still some pieces of the site that haven’t been completed with all the pictures that we are planning on posting.

I want to thank a lovely lady Jody Taylor Smith owner of Good Taste Events in Edmonds Washington for putting me onto the company that provided us with the help for the new site.

Please take a look and let us know what you think. Leave us a comment here and send us mail
info@thebeginningbride.net.
